David leads Household Capital’s capital and actuarial operations. Prior to joining Household Capital, David was the Chief Executive Officer of Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd [NYSE: ENH]. He joined Endurance Specialty in 2001 and served in a number of roles including Chief Risk Officer, Chief Actuary, President of Endurance Specialty Bermuda and Chief Underwriting Officer.

David has also worked as a consulting actuary at Tillinghast-Towers Perrin in New York and later with Centre Reinsurance, a Zurich Financial Services subsidiary, where he launched Centre Life Finance – Centre Solutions’ senior settlement financing company.

David serves as a director and advisor to a number of international financial organisations. Currently, he is a director of the Bermuda Commercial Bank Limited, a member of the Board of Advisors for the re-insurance investments of Hudson Structured Capital Management, and serves as a current and founding board member of the Bermuda Business Development Agency.

David received an M.Sc. in Mathematics from Oxford University, where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
