Craig Ward

Craig brings more than 20 years of finance leadership across insurance, banking, superannuation and financial markets. He is currently Chief Financial Officer of Helia (ASX: HLI), a lenders mortgage insurer, a role he stepped into in July 2026 after serving as Interim CFO and, before that, Head of Finance.

Before Helia, Craig spent much of his career at Westpac (ASX: WBC) and BT. There he led finance for the Mortgages and Business Lending division and was CFO of the BT Super and Platforms businesses, giving him deep insight into home lending and superannuation.

Craig is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. He holds a Bachelor of Business Science and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting.
