Dr Josh Funder
Dr Josh Funder is the CEO and Managing Director of Household Capital, which he founded in 2016. His distinguished career in finance and venture capital includes over a decade as a partner at GBS, Australia’s largest venture funds management firm, along with roles at the Boston Consulting Group in San Francisco and Infinity Inc in Boston.

Paul Stratton
Paul joined Household Capital in 2017 and is the firm’s Chief Operating Officer. He previously held the position of Chief Distribution Officer. In his role, Paul is responsible for Sales, Marketing and Operations, including the development of new channels and the platform to grow the business.
Paul is an experienced financial services professional, having held roles with leading wealth platforms and technology businesses. He has spent over a decade developing innovative products and services for the retirement and pension segment in Australia and was part of the team that brought AXA’s North platform to market. David Cash
David joined Household Capital in 2017 originally responsible for Household’s credit and funding operations. More recently David has served as the company’s Chief Risk Officer leading the firm’s capital and actuarial operations, including the structuring and ratings of the company’s loan various funding facilities.

Ian Parkes
Ian joined Household Capital in 2023 as Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary. In this role, he is responsible for the firm’s finance functions, including financial control, forecasting and planning, internal and external financial reporting, treasury and investor relations. Ian also has oversight of risk and compliance and HR.

Vlad Jaric
Vladimir joined Household Capital in 2020 as Head of Technology and was subsequently promoted to Chief Technology Officer. In this role, he has oversight of all technical resources and is responsible for the establishment of the technology vision. He encourages innovation among his team and supports research and the application of new technologies, with a strong focus on cloud computing, continuous delivery and information security.

Paul has significant senior executive experience in the financial services and wealth management sectors. His more recent executive roles at Challenger Limited (ASX: CGF) included Chief Executive, Distribution, Product and Marketing, Executive General Manager, Capital, Risk and Strategy and Group CFO. Prior to that Paul held the roles of CEO of the UK and Irish subsidiaries of MLC/NAB, and CEO of MLC Building Society.

Natasha Mora
Natasha heads the Asset Management Asia Pacific (ex Japan) business of L&G, a role she has held since 2022. She is responsible for leading distribution and client activities in the region alongside being responsible for the offices in Hong Kong, Singapore and Beijing. Prior to this, she was Regional Counsel and Commercial Director for Asia Pacific heading up business management, corporate strategy and legal services for APAC and Japan.

The Honourable Nicholas ‘Nick’ Sherry, BA, FAIST, GAICD
Nick was a Senator for Australia (Tasmania) for 22 years and the Minister for Superannuation and Corporate Law (Australia’s first), Assistant Treasurer, Small Business Minister and Assistant Minister for Agriculture and Resources. James Tutton
James Tutton serves as Executive Deputy Chair, working across Household Capital’s governance and executive teams. He is a Director of Neometro, a socially focused real estate development group, and Director of Trip Fuser, a travel-tech startup.
James has extensive experience in the property, mental health, arts, education and business sectors. He is director and co-founder of The Plato Project, an online and on-campus business school, and director and co-founder of Smiling Mind, one of Australia’s leading mental health not for profit groups. Lisa Griffin
Lisa joined Helia as Chief Commercial Officer, New Ventures in March 2021. Lisa has over 25 years’ of senior management, financial, customer and strategy experience in insurance, wealth management and banking in Australia.
Prior to joining, Lisa held senior roles in IAG, AMP and Suncorp leading some of the largest transformation programs in financial services and insurance. She has a track record for combining financial and strategic discipline with innovation and creativity to take businesses in new directions. [Read more]
Michelene Collopy
With over 30 years in financial markets, Michelene has deep expertise in governance, risk, and compliance. She is the Chair of Perpetual Superannuation Limited ($6.5B FUM) and a Director of Teachers Mutual Bank ($5B FUM), where she chairs the Audit, Risk, and Compliance Committee. Michelene also serves on Perpetual’s Compliance Committees ($20B FUM) and the Council of the University of Technology Sydney.

Deborah Ralston
Dr Deborah Ralston is the Chairperson of Household Capital’s Advisory Board, bringing extensive board-level experience from the commercial and public sectors. She is currently a member of the Future Fund Board of Guardians and the Reserve Bank of Australia’s Payments System Board. She is also a non-Executive Director of the Digital Finance Cooperative Research Centre and a Professorial Fellow at Monash University.
A respected government advisor, Dr Ralston was a member of the Federal Government’s 2019 Retirement Income Review panel and was inaugural Chair of ASIC’s Digital Finance Advisory Committee. [Read more]
Peter Kell
Peter is a former Deputy Chair of both the Australian Securities and Investments Commission and the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission. He was Managing Director of Promontory Australia and was also Chief Executive Officer of CHOICE, the Australian Consumers’ Association. He currently chairs the Financial Counselling Industry Fund. Garry Weaven
Garry played a seminal role in establishing Australia’s industry superannuation movement while at the ACTU in the 1980s. He became the founding Chair of several leading funds and founded Industry Fund Services (IFS) in 1994. Garry recently retired as Chair of IFM Investors, Industry Super Holdings, and The New Daily, and previously chaired ME Bank. Alastair Peattie
Alastair has a 30-year career in financial services, with deep expertise in institutional banking and home equity release. As General Manager of CBA’s Financial Institutions Group, he led a global team of 70 managing relationships with banks, insurers, and funds managers.
While at CBA, he was deeply involved in the reverse mortgage sector and, in 2007, led ‘Project Liberty,’ a strategic review of the home equity release market reporting directly to the bank’s Executive Committee. [Read more]

Professor Bob Officer AM is a leading figure in Australian finance, with a distinguished career in academia and corporate governance.
His past roles include Chair of Acorn Capital and JCP Investment Partnership, and director of CP2 and the Colonial Foundation.
