Flexible Lending Solutions For Borrowers Aged 60+
There are two ways you can work with us.
Most brokers select the ‘referrer’ model where you refer your client to us and our team manages the loan process.
For those brokers likely to establish a strong pipeline of 60+ lending and who’d prefer to manage the process end-to-end, you can become accredited to originate the loans.
Option 1: Mortgage Broker – Referrer
Becoming a referral partner enables you to easily provide valuable lending solutions to clients aged 60+. Our experienced team manages the loan process, keeping you and your client informed at every step.
As a referral partner, you’ll receive a 0.3% commission on the approved and drawn loan amount for each client.
It’s an easy three step process to register with us as a referral partner
- Click on the Partner With Us Now button.
- Complete the Referral Partner Registration Form. In the ‘Referrer Type’ field, be sure to select Mortgage Broker – Referrer to indicate that you wish to work as a referral partner.
- Once we receive the form, we’ll prepare a Referrer Agreement and email it to you. By making a referral to us, you confirm your acceptance of the terms of our agreement.
Option 2: Mortgage Broker – Originator
If you anticipate a significant volume of lending to clients aged 60+ and prefer to manage the process yourself, you can be accredited to originate our lending solutions. At the same time, our broker team remains available to provide you with assistance as required.
This option offers an upfront commission of 0.8% of the approved and drawn loan amount, plus a 0.2% trail on drawn funds.
It’s an easy five step process to become an originator.
- Click on the Partner With Us Now button.
- Complete the Referral Partner Registration Form. In the ‘Referrer Type’ field, ensure you select Mortgage Broker – Originator.
- Once we receive your form, one of our BDMs will make contact to determine whether this is the right model for you. If so, we’ll send you a link to complete the Household Capital Accreditation.
- Complete the Accreditation Course, which generally takes less than 45 minutes. Once finished, you’ll receive a certificate of completion.
- Access the Accredited Broker Support Portal. You’ll receive access within 24 hours of completing the accreditation process. It will be your primary resource when preparing clients’ loan applications.
