Access Bankstatements.com

BankStatements.com.au is a secure, confidential portal that Household Capital uses to allow you, the client to log into your bank account and automatically extract your bank statement data for submission to Household Capital through a secure channel. You never have to give us your account access details.

If you are still concerned about the security of this channel but have internet banking, you can also download your statements from your bank and attach them to an email to send to us at the email address at the bottom of this document. .csv format is preferred but we will also take .xls or .pdf.

How to lodge your Bank Statements with Household Capital?

1. When you see this screen:

1. Choose your bank. You can click on a logo or if your bank logo is not showing, use ‘show all’, or start typing your bank name until your logo appears and then click on the logo.

   Once you get to your bank you will see a login screen that looks something like this (it varies from bank to bank depending on their terminology for customer ID and password):
   

2. Enter your online banking login credentials.

   Don’t forget to ‘agree’ to the terms and conditions (highlighted in red above).
   If you have hit submit without agreeing to the terms and conditions you will get an error box at the top of the screen:

   
   You need to acknowledge this message, then tick the ‘agree’ to the terms and conditions and hit submit.

3. Select accounts – please leave every active personal account selected including credit cards.
   You may wish to deselect accounts used for businesses for example.
4. Hit ‘Send’ and wait a couple of minutes for the ‘success’ message.
